Security Review of Rural Estate

Situation

We were commissioned by the new owners of a country estate to conduct a full security review of their recent property acquisition, including the main house, commercial outbuildings, tenanted cottages, gardens and 5,000 acres of agricultural land and commercial land.

The new owners understood the importance of implementing proportional, modern security measures to fit their risk profile, and acknowledged that the previous owners had not invested in proactive security measures.

Solution

We spent three days at the property assessing the existing physical, technical, and procedural security infrastructure of its many component parts; and analysing the security risk of the estate and the owners’ family.

We produced a detailed written report containing a risk analysis, an outline of their existing security infrastructure, the vulnerabilities to which they were exposed, and an intuitive list of recommended additional security measures to act as a guide for the implementation process.

They commissioned us to project manage the implementation process, trusting our ability to find the most appropriate, enduring, and value-based security solutions in the market.

Finally, we conducted training days for the estate staff and family members so that they were comfortable using the new security measures, to ensure maximum efficacy.
