We were telephoned by a director of well-known real estate services company who said that they had identified signs that one of their clients’ empty property was being used by squatters.

The owner wanted to identify the squatters, and secure the house to prevent them from breaking-in in the future.

We deployed covert surveillance operatives to monitor house. Identifying a period when the squatters left the premises, we deployed guards into the house to secure it. We then managed the installation of a new intruder detection system, new lock barrels, and CCTV.

Following our reports to the police and the management of additional security, the squatters were detained and the owner finally managed to rent out their property following initial fears from potential tenants about similar security issues.
